Wisconsin Dells Asks People To Follow CDC Travel Guidelines

The Wisconsin Dells has been a popular vacation destination for many years, and this year, with everything in Minnesota closed, its safe to assume that more families will be planning a trip across the border.

FYI, Governor Walz didn't specifically address trips to the Dells when he unveiled his Stay Safe MN plan, but he did strongly urge all Minnesotans to stay close to their home. According to the Minnesota Dept of Health's website, "Staying close to home helps protect your neighbors from spreading COVID-19 and avoids crowding rural medical facilities. Avoiding this kind of travel makes us all safer and healthier."

If you are going to take your family the Wisconsin Dells Visitor & Convention Bureau is asking you to review and follow the CDC travel guidelines and restrictions before planning a trip. You can review that info on the CDC's site, here.

Social distancing is being enforced this summer at the Dells and most businesses require their staff to wear masks. Masks are optional at most places for guests.
