WWII Vet Just Wants Cards for His 100th Birthday! Here’s His Address.
This is the easiest birthday gift to buy ever. All James South in Texas wants is a bunch of birthday cards for his 100th birthday! I'll bet we can make sure that number is in the thousands.
By we, I mean all of us. The request below went viral and the WWII veteran that said, on WFAA-8 in Texas, “It would give me a feeling that I am recognized for what I do, what I am,” South said. “And I would cherish it forever.”
Why birthday cards? Well, he says he had a girlfriend, and she wrote to him every day for the four years he was away during WWII. When he came back they got married and spent 55 years together.
Scroll down for his address.
