Recently one of the homes from the 1993 film Grumpy Old Men went up for sale and plenty of people were interested in possibly owning that piece of movie memorabilia. It just so happens that another building from the film is up for sale, and it's closer than St. Paul. Located in downtown Faribault, the former Poirier Pharmacy located at the intersection of 3rd Street NW and Central Ave.

When it came to the film Grumpy Old Men the pharmacy scenes should look familiar to those who live in the Faribault area as the Poirier Pharmacy was around for over 80 years. According to an online guide for self tours of where the films Grumpy Old Men and Grumpier Old Men the drug store at the time of filming "was still an old-style drug store and soda fountain."

There's some strong language in this scene from the 1993 film, but if you look carefully out the window you can tell it's downtown Faribault.

Just think you could head down to the pawn shop and relieve this scene with Frank!

The sale according to the listing by Edina Realty's Suzanne Terry includes units 101-105 and 201, along with what the realtor lists as three income producing retail spaces with active tenants on street level.
