Did You Know This Actor is From Rochester?

If you've watched the ABC show The Goldbergs or the HBO show VEEP, then you might be familiar with this actor's work. And, as it turns out, he was born right here in the Med City.

Yes, if you're like me, you've probably seen Dan Bakkedahl before-- but you might not know who he is. He's a pretty talented character actor who's made appearances in many different shows, like The Daily Show, 30 Rock, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Mindy Project and more. More recently, he's one of the stars of the CBS show, Life In Pieces.

And, he's got Minnesota roots. According to the Dan Bakkedahl Wikipedia page (so you know it's true!), he was born right here in Rochester in November of 1969. Turns out, though, he was raised in Florida and graduated from high school there. But he did attend Minnesota's own St. Cloud State for a few years before getting his degree at Florida State.

So, even though he moved from the Med City when he was no doubt pretty young, we can still count him as another famous person from Rochester, can't we? Here's a promo for his latest show, which is pretty funny. Check it out...
