Are you looking for a fun way to bring holiday cheer to your kids?  The Rochester Police Department just announced their Kindness Contest and it truly is the perfect way to finish up the 2020 year.  BONUS: there is a Target gift card that your kids can win!

Let's face it, 2020 is on the naughty list, and we all could use a little cheer.  The best way to spread cheer (besides singing loud for all to hear) is through kindness.  That is why Rochester Police Department is holding a Kindness Contest.  RPD invites students K-12 to share a story or drawing that depicts an act of kindness you experienced recently.  It could be something you did or saw.  The students with the most uplifting entries will win a Target gift card and candy, which we all know is one of the four main food groups.

Don't be a cotton-headed ninny muggins!  Email your entry to RPDKindnessContest@gmail.com by noon on December 15th and include your first and last name, grade, school, email address and phone number.  RPD will notify winners on December 21. - Rochester Police Department Facebook page

Get the crayons and markers out and some of that craft paper and let your kids have fun sharing all of the stories and pictures that will help spread holiday cheer this year!  Their creativity might even score them some sweet treats and some shopping fun at Target.
