The Lakeville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding those responsible for a gun shop burglary in northern Lakeville.

The burglary occurred last Friday, Aug. 3, at Dakota Custom Guns, 17400 Kenwood Trail in Lakeville. That morning the burglars used a Ford Flex to ram the rear of the building to gain access. Once inside, the thieves stole several handguns.

The Ford Flex used in the crime is distinctive as it was driving on a spare tire on the front right, or passenger side, of the vehicle. The black rim is different from the other three. The car also has damage to the front left side fender. There may be more damage to the front and rear of the car.

The suspects in the case both disguised their appearance by wearing hoodies. One suspect appears to be tall, approximately 6 feet, 5 inches tall, wearing jeans that are cropped or rolled up on one leg. The suspect is also wearing distinct red shoes.

The other suspect is approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall, slim build.

After watching the video, if you think you may know who these people are, or know the whereabouts of the car, please call 911 or Lakeville Police at 952-985-4800.
